Strava
As a production designer at Strava, I collaborate with cross-functional teams, working on localization of on-platform, web, and print assets. I also contribute to design systems, create tools for designers, set up web pages using Contentful, and build and update templates.
I contributed to the building, speccing, and visual quality assurance of screens and Figma components for the design systems development, leading to the introduction of Dark Mode. I also contributed to decision-making discussions on spacing, fonts, colors, and overall consistency.
The 2023 Strava Tour de France Roadbook: a 182-page print and digital companion guide to the segments of the Tour de France/Tour de France Femmes. Working with a designer who developed a handful of base segment page designs, I produced the remainder of the roadbook in three languages for print and digital use. Each page features a dynamic 3D map, QR code, specific stats for that segment and a Strava Story.
I finalized and versioned out in-app and web banners for Strava, localizing them into up to 14 languages.
An example of a Contentful page, which I took from Figma and built on our CMS platform. This included finalizing the design to make it pixel-perfect, exporting desktop and mobile assets, and building the page based on pre-existing modules. I would also be tasked with entering in the localized imagery and copy, in at times up to 14 languages.
In collaboration with a brand designer and product designer, I orchestrated a logo family refresh and built a logo component library within Figma, now a part of Strava’s design system used across the product and brand teams.
